All of the psychologists at PsyMontreal are members of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec and offer you the most scientifically validated types of psychotherapy and coaching, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Leanna J. Zozula, Ph.D.

Dr Leanna Zozula is a psychologist and Clinical Director of PsyMontréal.  She was awarded her doctorate degree from McGill University and has trained and worked in several hospital/clinic settings in Montreal and the USA (New York).  Dr. Zozula lectures about mental health topics to the public and healthcare professionals..

Jean-Marc Assaad, Ph.D.

Dr. Jean-Marc Assaad is a psychologist and the Director of Prevention & Training Services at PsyMontréal.  He regularly provides conferences and trainings in Motivational Interviewing to various governmental agencies and private companies.  Dr. Assaad obtained his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from McGill University, where he also taught.

David Michaliszyn, Ph. D.

David Michaliszyn is a psychologist working under the direction of André Marchand (author of "The fear of fear”") at the University of Quebec in Montreal. He is developing the use of virtual reality in psychological treatments. He has worked in several hospitals in Montreal, CLSC and in private practice.

Nilmini De Silva, Ph.D.

Nilmini De Silva is a psychologist, having been trained at both McGill and Concordia University. She offers seminars on time management and regularly teaches masters and doctoral level psychology students at McGill University. Her work experience is diverse and includes Montreal hospitals, private clinics, and private practice.

Jérôme Lapalme, M.Ps.

Jérôme Lapalme is a psychologist trained both at Université de Montréal and UQÀM. He has worked in public and private settings and is interested by many aspects of psychology, such as cognitive psychology, organizational psychology and clinical psychology. He uses a cognitive-behavioral approach and specializes in the treatment of anxiety related disorders. He is particularly interested recent developments in stress-reducing techniques, such as mindfulness based meditation.

Rick Parker, Ph.D.

Rick Parker is a psychologist, having been trained at the University of Ottawa. Using empirically supported interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, he helps clients along the road to wellness and also provides a warm and empathic environment for managing problematic emotions such as fear, anger and sadness.

Arlene Caplan, Ph.D.

Arlene Caplan trained as both an educational and clinical psychologist at McGill University, where she has also been a faculty member in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology.  Dr. Caplan has worked in the hospital setting as well as in private practice for more than 20 years. She has experience with adults and children of all ages, treating individuals, couples, and families. Her clinical practice is culturally sensitive, and her experience spans a wide range of issues.

Adina Singer, M.A.

Adina Singer is a Psychologist and has been working with children, adolescents, adults and families for 15 years. She provides a warm and supportive environment and works collaboratively using CBT techniques and a family systems approach, to help individuals, couples and families understand and resolve recurring difficulties, learn new coping strategies and tools to help reach a desired sense of comfort in their lives.

Roger Covin, Ph.D.

Dr. Roger Covin is a psychologist who has trained and worked in numerous hospitals, clinics and practices across Canada. He primarily uses Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy to treat problems, and is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies. In addition to his clinical experience, he is an accomplished researcher and author of the book “The Need to be Liked.”
